Upvotes lift good things; downvotes only affect ranking — the counts stay hidden, on purpose. We optimise for kindness, not pile-ons. • Threads are nested, so replies stay readable. Who can post • Reading is on us — anyone can browse every thread, free. • Posting, commenting, voting, and anonymous mode are part of Supporter ($5/mo, billed through your existing Surely + Work account). • Anonymous mode gives you a stable alias — you keep a reputation across threads without ever showing your name. • Self-promotion is welcome as long as you flag it (it shows a small amber tag).
