Bikini Designer

About the role

We're looking for a creative designer to help bring a brand new swimwear brand to life from the ground up. This is a freelance, project-based role for someone who loves fashion, understands current swimwear trends, and can take inspiration, mood boards, and ideas and turn them into original bikini concepts. What you'll do: Create original bikini designs based on inspiration and creative direction Sketch front, back, and detail views of swimwear concepts Suggest unique design elements, cuts, hardware, prints, fabrics, and finishes Collaborate on collections from initial concept through revisions Help build a cohesive brand aesthetic across multiple styles You're a great fit if you: Have experience designing swimwear, lingerie, activewear, or fashion Can create professional digital sketches and technical fashion illustrations Have a strong eye for trends while creating original designs Are organized, communicative, and open to feedback Have a portfolio of previous fashion or swimwear design work Bonus if you have experience with: Tech packs Fabric sourcing or manufacturing knowledge Print or pattern design Adobe Illustrator or other fashion design software To apply, please include: Your portfolio (especially swimwear or apparel if applicable) A short introduction about yourself Your rates or preferred pricing structure Your availability We're looking for someone excited to build something from the very beginning and become a creative partner as the brand grows.
