Does good design come from designing less?
Been thinking about this a lot lately as I’ve been working through more branding and identity projects. I feel like some of my best ideas have come when I’m not designing — surfing, skating, running, traveling, taking photos, noticing things in the real world. The more I actually live outside of design, the more I feel like I have something to bring back into it. I’ve started thinking about it as: good work comes from actually living. Curious if other creatives feel the same way. What outside of your work has had the biggest influence on the work you make? [artwork shared] random micrographics from visual identity project

for me, it's definitely exploring places and taking photos in terms of design. I think it's interesting "activities" are such large influences on your work. Could you give an example?
